Although you can use just about anything as containers for your container garden plants, there are few considerations that you have to make to ensure their health and productivity. First and foremost, you have to make sure that they have enough holes to secure proper drainage. If they don’t have holes yet, you might need to punch or drill into their base. The next step is to cover them slightly with pebbles or bits of broken pots. This is so their drainage doesn’t get blocked up by compost. After, you can now put your compost and then begin planting!
