There’s nothing better than having easy access to fresh herbs to enliven even the blandest dish. Luckily, growing herbs don’t need much space. In fact, they do very well when grown together in pot containers. However, mixing herbs in pots isn’t as easy as it sounds. There are some general guidelines you need to remember.

When picking herbs to grow together in the pot, consider:

• height of each plant
• irrigation needs
• herbs that must be planted strictly by itself (e.g. mint)
