Planting in Pots and Other Ways of Playing with Permaculture in the Big City

Growing your farm doesn’t need huge land, a tractor, and complete self-sufficiency. You can grow your food inside your house. So creating a garden even in a small home isn’t as hard you think. But you better have pots and planters because they will be the key to your home garden.

Key takeaways:

  • You can create a lovely garden even in the tiniest of spaces. If you live in a small apartment with no balcony, you can use containers. Many vegetables grow well in pots, such as herbs, lettuce, tomatoes, and potatoes. As long as you use the appropriate container for the plant, you’re good to go.
  • Using healthy soil is essential in growing a happy and healthy plant. When growing your plants in pots, the material must be light and absorbent. An excellent recommendation is to place a layer of coconut fiber in your container.
  • When growing your garden, you have to choose the right plant for the right area. Different plants thrive in other conditions. For example, you need to place sun-loving plants near windows for more light, and you should place moisture-loving plants in bathrooms.
